Top Cape Town breakdancer, Toufeeq Baatjies, aka BBoy Toufeeq, was crowned winner of the Indian Ocean Breakdance Championship, an online international competition, a fortnight ago. In line with current lockdown regulations, the competition was held via a video Skype video call. Baatjies has been dancing since he was 13 years old and is no stranger to international competition. He recently returned home after a two-year tour to Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
