* Drivers and commuters cannot fail to notice the metal white-bike memorial that has been erected on the lawns running along Milnerton Lagoon, close to the entrance to Woodbrige Island. It marks the spot where cyclist Adré Erasmus was killed a year ago on January 19. Mr Esrasmus, 37, was run over by a truck while he was cycling home from work in Mowbray. He left behind his wife, Lorraine, and twins Anru and Lize, who were six at the time of their father’s death.
