A man, believed to be in his 30s, was left seriously injured on Sunday November 6 after his motorbike collided with a car at the Otto Du Plessis and David Baird Road intersection in Table View.
According to ER24 spokeman Russel Meiring, paramedics arrived on the scene and found the car and bike in the middle of the road.
“The biker was found lying in the road a few metres away from his motorbike. Upon assessment, paramedics found the man had sustained serious injuries to his leg and hand, leaving him in a critical condition.
“ER24 paramedics began their treatment and provided the patient with several advanced life support interventions,” said Mr Meiring.
The man was taken to a private hospital for urgent treatment. The driver of the car was not injured.
