Police arrested a suspected burglar in Table View just after midnight on Friday last week after an officer noticed a window that appeared to have been forced open.
Table View police spokeswoman Captain Adriana Chandler said officers had found a 33-year-old man hiding on a Dale Crescent property.
He was wearing dark clothes and gloves and carrying a knife.
* A 26-year-old man is facing fraud charges after he was arrested last Wednesday for allegedly cheating on his learner-licence exam at Milnerton Driving Licence Testing Centre.
Richard Bosman from the City’s safety and security directorate, said the examiner had caught the man copying answers from a piece of paper.
