Grade 7 Elkanah House pupil Kieran Stadler represented Western Province at the Japanese Karate Association (JKA) SA Championships in Johannesburg in May. He won double gold medals for kata and kumite, making him the Grand SA Champion in his age group. He received his green and gold jacket on Thursday August 11.
