■ Melkbosstrand High School Grade 9 pupil Gareth Dahl ran the 10km KFM Gun Run on Sunday October 8 to raise money for The Hope Foundation for Cats, in Melkbosstrand. He raised R19 000 and ran his personal best time of 57 minutes and 56 seconds.
