Mary Langebrink, of Table View, and her 13-year-old Jack Russell, Paddy, have signed up for the FNB Run Your City Series Heritage Day Virtual Run on Thursday September 24.
The duo aim to raise R4 000 towards the four tons of food the SPCA needs to buy monthly.
Paddy and Mary are parkrun fanatics and have completed 150 parkruns at 30 venues.
They also ran in the FNB Cape Town 12K City Run for three years, raising more than R10 000 for animals awaiting homes at the Cape of Good Hope SPCA. To support Paddy’s run, click here.
