In what is hoped will be the first of many collaborations with stand-up comedian Lungelo Ndlovu, Milnerton Players will host the first Comedy@The Playhouse show on Friday September 30, at Milnerton Playhouse, in Pienaar Road, at 7.30pm.
The host will be Martin Davis, who hails from the United Kingdom and has performed on many stages around the world. Ndlovu has been in the comedy industry for just over 10 years and has been invited to perform in parliament, Comedy Central Africa and was a regular at the former Cape Town Comedy Club, just to name a few. His humour is generally observational and personal.
Added to this line-up is Ismail Moses, who entered the stand-up comedy scene in 2016 and has shared the stage with some of the finest in the country; Kolping Mbumba, author of IsiXhosa Lessons with Kolping Mbumba; and Vafa Naraghi who has toured with his one man show.
Tickets cost R150. Booking through Quicket or www.milnertonplayers.co.za
