■ Fourteen people were arrested for the illegal possession of abalone and shark fins estimated at R5.5 million during an operation by SAPS Crime Intelligence in Milnerton on Friday, July 14. R50 000 cash and an Isuzu LDV were also confiscated. The suspects were due to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on Monday July 17.
